Ametrine - Fingering Weight Single Ply

400 yards/100 grams - Fingering Weight - 100% Superwash Merino - Single Ply.

Ametrine is a variety of quartz that is a mix of amethyst and citrine. This colorway is slightly variegated with layers of violet and pops of citrusy orange. It is speckled with deep eggplant purple. I recommend alternating skeins to avoid pooling. 

Single ply yarn is so soft. It produces the most luxe feeling and looking fabric. It is my favorite yarn to use for special shawls and it works up beautifully in garter stitch and brioche. 

Hand wash finished item gently in cool water. Bleeding may occur with the first couple of washes. Lay flat to dry.
