Amber - Fingering Weight Single Ply

400 yards/100 grams - Fingering Weight - 100% Superwash Merino - Single Ply.

Amber is a slightly variegated and speckled yarn inspired by one of my favorite semi-precious stones, and it feeds my vintage-loving heart. It has layers of orange-gold with undertones of chartreuse, and with speckles of rich browns and reds. I recommend alternating skeins to avoid pooling. 

Single ply yarn is so soft. It produces the most luxe feeling and looking fabric. It is my favorite yarn to use for special shawls and it works up beautifully in garter stitch and brioche. 

Hand wash finished item gently in cool water. Bleeding may occur with the first couple of washes. Lay flat to dry.
